Companies switch on to new ways of staff training
A growing number of employers including law firms are developing short courses known as microcredentials in collaboration with tertiary institutions.
Rolling out a microcredential in lighting illumination engineering has several benefits for Beacon Lighting. It supports sales and results in higher staff engagement and satisfaction, which lead to better staff retention. It also makes for more satisfied customers.
“We do a lot of lighting design for our customers. Because it’s complicated, we need appropriately trained team members to provide specialist advice,” says Beacon Group CEO Glen Robinson.
