    Grain Producers Australia has welcomed a Federal Court ruling that shoots down claims that the nation’s most commonly used farm chemical causes cancer.

    Maurice Blackburn lawyers had brought a class action against Monsanto on behalf of hundreds of sufferers of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). It was alleged the cancer stemmed from using the weedkiller known as Roundup, which has the chemical glyphosate as its main ingredient.
