    Legislation to force the east coast divisions of the CFMEU’s construction arm into administration for a maximum of three years has been introduced into parliament, with stiff fines and jail terms for any person or union that tries to undermine the work of the administrator.

    But it faces a bumpy passage, with the Greens refusing to commit to the legislation, even in-principle, and the Coalition flagging it is too weak and it will demand changes.
