High-roller exodus rolls on at struggling Star casinos

Star Entertainment Group has warned an exodus of high-rollers, persistent cost-of-living pressures and rising remediation costs will further dent full-year earnings as it waits to hear whether it can keep its Sydney casino licence.
The casino group told shareholders its main gaming floors were attracting gamblers, but not enough to offset dramatic declines in premium gaming room revenue, particularly at its precincts in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
