Honesty and action key to limiting ‘real’ greenwashing

Companies should continue to make bold environmental commitments rather than shy away because of concerns they will be labelled greenwashers, Treasury and legal experts say.
The comments come amid concern that tougher scrutiny of green claims is perversely resulting in less climate action, as regulators ramp up legal actions against businesses falling short on their promises.
