As CEO of Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, LuAnn Pappas is responsible for overall company performance, including guest service, associate satisfaction, financial performance, and community relations. In 2022, Pappas became the first Mississippi gaming executive to be selected as a Finalist for The Global Gaming Awards’ American Executive of the Year Award, and Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort was selected as a Finalist for the North American Property of the Year—the only Gulf Coast property to be named a finalist since the award’s inception.
