There is something about a New Orleans bride that has always intrigued me. I’ve noticed that, whether she is a trendsetting fashionista or a fan of traditional fashion, she often has something in common with her counterparts:  A love of classic silhouettes and charm to spare. We celebrate this in every issue of the magazine, but never moreso than in this issue’s fashion spread.

Also of note, is our newly revamped Beauty section. We’ve focused our finds on locally made products or those available at local boutiques, so the hottest skincare, makeup and haircare is always close at hand — literally.

Meanwhile, the Details section has everything the quintessential Crescent City couple needs to plan a Big Day bash. From cakes inspired by “something blue” and seafood-infused reception menus to some of the city’s most fabulous new or newly-renovated event venues.

Finally, planning a wedding can be both exhilarating and exhausting, what with the many moving parts and the countless loved ones to wrangle, try to appease and otherwise navigate. Which is why I’m thrilled to share with you a new offering, The Wediquette: A Let Them Eat Cake Podcast. Learn more at the sidebar to your right and, hopefully, smooth the way on your Big Day.

Cheers!
