Both professionally and personally, Kate Moore strives to be a positive force in the world. A 2016 Millennial Award recipient, Kate not only excels in her industry, she positively impacts the greater community. As Director of Economic Development at St. Tammany Corporation, she and her team strategically align the economic landscape in St. Tammany to be the destination of choice for highly skilled talent and business formation, attraction, expansion, and retention. Kate oversees implementation of St. Tammany Corporation’s business attraction, retention, and expansion efforts, including their in-house business technical services, land and sites program, strategic partnership engagement, and workforce development initiatives. “I am so fortunate to be able to help companies create a better, more prosperous future for their employees, families, and the next generation,” says Kate. “I strive to make a positive difference for my son’s future and want to teach him to spread kindness and compassion through everything he does.” Originally from Biloxi, MS, Kate holds a Master of Science degree in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi.
