Titan Homes Inc., owned by Stephen Fleishmann, specializes in complex custom residential construction and employs professional subcontractors, architects and engineers. With a full time staff of five, Fleishmann says the company typically takes on about seven projects and one of the goals of the business is “to schedule ourselves efficiently.” This includes staggering the starts; Fleishmann estimates the company takes on a new project every one or two months and “tries to get to every job, every day.”
What items do you sell, and what services do you provide?We build homes for individuals that have been designed for them, as opposed to speculative housing. We specialize in building a relationship with the homeowner. It’s very personalized; it’s their design.
What sort of clientele do you reach? A typical client is somebody who has a vision or a dream of what they want their house to look like. We develop that on paper through architects. It’s someone who wants a custom home built for his or her specific needs.
What does the process entail?Once the projects are drawn and details are established, we start construction. We work with the customer almost from the very beginning to the very end, though sometimes they come to us with their plans.
We do it all, from surveying to working with subcontractors.
What types of projects do you take on? Most houses we work on are 25,000 square feet or more, but we don’t have a limit.
