The American Cancer Society held its annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K” on October 19 at the New Orleans Lakefront.
One of more than 300 events being held nationally this year, the walk had more than 6,000 participants and 200 teams.
Individuals who devoted their day on October 19 to walking to raise money and awareness for breast cancer, and to honor those who have fought and won, as well as those who lost, their battle with breast cancer at The American Cancer Society’s annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K”.
