A native New Orleanian, Billy began his career as a professional engineer in Louisiana and Georgia before working on development projects in the Buckhead and Midtown Atlanta neighborhoods, where he recognized his passion for the creative side of real estate. In the summer of 2000, Billy and GiGi moved back home to start Burk Construction & Development and Burk Brokerage Real Estate.
Since then, Billy most enjoys being part of an energetic team whose creative talents result in someone’s new family home, place to work, or welcoming space that will bring memories to come. When asked why he chooses New Orleans as home base, he says, “Our vibrant community provides a colorful conduit to balance our hard work with the true, unfiltered joy of living.”
