Claire Melancon

In founding Audubon Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Claire Melancon combines her love of artistry and skill as a surgeon to offer patients the chance to achieve their unique facial aesthetic goals through both surgical and non-surgical methods. One of the few female facial plastic surgeons in the city, Claire emphasizes a natural, artful, individualized approach with a feminine perspective to her work while offering a boutique, personalized patient experience consistent with her stylish office on Magazine Street.

As a mother of twins, Claire finds fulfillment balancing a career that is a passion and motherhood. She is passionate about mentorship and women supporting other women personally and professionally. In the community, she has been actively involved with the Junior League and currently serves on the YAYA Arts Center committee, as she is passionate about the arts given her own history as an artist. Nationally, she serves on the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery’s FACE to FACE foundation committee, which funds domestic and international surgical missions and offers pro bono surgeries to women suffering domestic abuse as well as veterans. She has sponsored several charity events and strongly believes in giving back to the community.
