At The Women’s Medical Center, located in Gretna, Dr. Elizabeth Blanton serves as Medical Director and leads a group of care providers who are experts in women’s health and who truly care about their patients’ journeys through life, whether in adolescence, motherhood, menopause or between. Enriched by diversity, this group is proud to accept new patients and to aid women in their journey to and through pregnancy.
The Women’s Medical Center is the largest OB/GYN practice on the Westbank and has served as the region’s go-to women’s health practice for more than 60 years. A place for all women, The Women’s Medical Center offers a variety of in-house technologies and services that keep patient care under one roof.
Dr. Blanton attended medical school and completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before joining the Center in 2005. Her special interests include family planning, menopause, and obstetrics.
