Located in a restored Uptown Victorian house on Magazine Street, the practice of Dr. Mark Stalder specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery procedures of the face, breast, and body.

“Our practice is designed to offer a warm, inviting, and personalized experience,” says Dr. Stalder. “We want patients to feel at ease and at home. We embrace the reality that every person is different, so we take our time developing individual treatment plans and ensure that patient and physician are on the same page. Patient education is essential, and we want each patient to feel comfortable and have all of their questions answered before we move forward.”

An expert in complex and comprehensive breast reconstruction techniques, Dr. Stalder specializes in recreating the breast using a patient’s own tissue, including the DIEP flap and a variety of secondary options patients may not find elsewhere. He has spoken nationally and internationally on these procedures and published numerous papers describing innovations he has helped develop. But most importantly, he cares deeply about providing top-tier care for his patients.

“Our breast cancer patients are some of our favorites to work with. We are with them through the entire process from the time of diagnosis until we are able to make them whole again. They become family,” he says.

Dr. Stalder also holds a particular interest in plastic surgery of the face, including full facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty, complex procedures that require careful attention to detail. He gained additional expertise in advanced approaches to facial anatomy during his craniofacial fellowship training in Miami.

Dr. Stalder is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery. He considers it a privilege to make his patients feel whole again.
