In 1996, with eight years of accounting experience at Arthur Andersen, Jennifer Heath founded J. Heath and Company with her husband Jude as a way to work from home while raising her first child. Today, this mother of four leads a company with its own office and 12 employees, including seven tax accountants.
“Our mission is to empower clients to maintain financial records, minimize their taxes, and make the process as streamlined and simple as possible,” says Jennifer. “This involves getting to know our clients personally and monitoring their tax planning and strategies as their lives and circumstances change.”
Jennifer’s love of math—especially its real-life applications— and an ever-changing legal landscape provide opportunities for new strategies and overcoming new challenges. Across her more than 30-year career, she has found constant enjoyment in inspiring others through numbers. Adding to her credentials, Jennifer is pursuing a Master’s of Science in taxation, which has further enhanced the research skills she uses to identify the best possible tax solutions for clients.
Outside of the office, Jennifer helps women deepen their faith through her Walking With Purpose ministry and counsels young couples together with Jude using Dynamic Catholic’s Better Together curriculum at St. Francis Xavier church.
