Is it worth getting a Qantas home loan for the points?

Dear Ms Wise, my partner and I are thinking of refinancing, and I’ve heard of people taking out Qantas Money loans to take advantage of the frequent flyer points. My husband says it’s a gimmick, but it sounds like a good deal to me.

The wisdom: In a higher interest rate environment, it’s definitely worth looking at refinancing, whether you do it for the points or not.
