Keating rebukes super funds for ‘chasing the money’

Paul Keating has taken a swipe at superannuation funds for only now starting to think about retirement income products, when they should have started “at least 10 years ago” instead of “chasing the money”.
The former prime minister said funds were so focused on “the money race” – that is, accumulating as many customers and contributions as possible – that they had left retirees out in the cold.
