Australia could become a centre for globally significant artificial intelligence companies, but it will take a major increase in local investor understanding of the complex space, entrepreneurs say .
The verdict was from the founders of two AI companies, out of the 550 that the Australian Investment Council estimates now operate domestically, speaking at Tuesday’s Australian Financial Review Entrepreneur Summit in Sydney.
