    We keep hearing how expensive nuclear power is. Let’s look across the Pacific to the United States for a reality check. California has the greatest penetration of renewable energy but has the highest cost of electricity in the nation.

    Go east to Arizona. It has the country’s largest (4.4GW) nuclear generation complex and the cheapest electricity.
