Quadrant’s erstwhile top dealmaker returns armed with Packer cash
It has been almost a year since one of Quadrant Private Equity’s top investors, Jonathon Pearce, exited the high-profile firm. JP, as he is better known, is buying the six decade-old business with his new business partner, Patrick Rodden, a senior dealmaker at EQT Partners until March. The two private equity veterans are in business together, and sources said they were being backed by none other than James Packer’s family office, Consolidated Press Holdings.
