Ready-to-drink vodka maker Billson’s Beverages goes bust

Billson’s Beverages, a ready-to-drink vodka maker, craft brewer and cordial producer from Beechworth in Victoria, has been put into administration after succumbing to a rapid slowdown in demand and heavy increases in government excise.

McGrath Nicol has been appointed administrators of the business, which attracts thousands of visitors annually to its historic brewery in the north-east of Victoria. It was established in 1865.
