Revolving door of PMs embarrassed Australia: Albanese

Anthony Albanese has acknowledged Labor’s contribution to the leadership chaos that blighted Australian politics for almost two decades, as he doubled down on his pre-election pitch of stability.

A day after reshuffling his frontbench for the first time since the May 2022 election, Mr Albanese again pointed out that if he was re-elected he would be the first prime minister to serve two successive terms since John Howard between 2001 and 2007.
