Scyne to cut 90 jobs amid crunch on Canberra work
Edmund TadrosProfessional services editor
Public sector consulting firm Scyne will cut 90 roles, including 10 managing director positions, largely from divisions that provide general strategic advice as the start-up seeks to boost its offerings in specific technologies and sectors.
The move leaves Scyne with a workforce of about 90 managing directors and about 900 staff working in defence, health and social services, energy and climate, and education and training. The affected managing directors and staff were informed about the job losses on Thursday morning.
