Showing the way: Major brands embrace new recycling symbols

Rolling out Australasian Recycling Labels across 10 million fully recyclable garment bags for Kmart’s Anko brand socks and jocks means at least 120 tonnes of problematic soft plastics can be diverted from landfill each year.
These products were traditionally sold in a PVC bag with a metal clip, polyethylene hanger and cardboard sleeve, which could not be fully recycled.
