Stressed teens would rather finish school with no ATAR than sit exams

One in seven teenagers say they are considering finishing Year 12 without an ATAR as a means of protecting their mental health from the unwanted pressure of exams, a major survey reveals.
It also found the cost of living is registering with teenagers for the first time and that wellbeing among boys at single-sex schools has dropped sharply in the past year, although girls continue to report greater levels of loneliness than boys.
