Retailer turned developer Fadil “Butch” Sadikay has put two neighbouring period apartment buildings in inner Melbourne’s affluent South Yarra on the market in the hopes of selling them for more than $29 million.

The two properties at 6-10 Marne Street house seven apartments, but are being sold vacant and with a permit to turn them into a luxury development.

    correction

An earlier version of this article said Mr Sadikay paid $10.5m for the two buildings on Marne Street. This was the price for just one of the buildings. He paid around $21m for both.
