The most expensive house sales outside Sydney

Sydney may be the undisputed leader in prestige home sales, but Melbourne and some of the country’s most popular regions are not far behind.

Analysis by CoreLogic shows premium home sales over the past financial year in Byron Bay, Noosa Heads and the Gold Coast are now close to matching Sydney, as affluent buyers seek out the last remaining waterfront homes.
