Transurban has been forced to hand over toll road operational manuals to the Brisbane City Council this year after the government authority demanded information on the company’s responses to traffic accidents following incidents of “potential serious nature”.

Transurban operates all of Brisbane’s six toll roads after buying Queensland Motorways in 2014. The Clem7 tunnel, Go Between Bridge and Legacy Way tunnel are operated under concession agreements with Brisbane City Council while the Gateway and Logan motorways and AirportlinkM7 are operated under agreements with the state.
